Who Am I ?

Lets get to know each other!

Namaste!
I Am Aravind Kaliamoorthy

I’m from Pondecherry, India, and I am the founder of Breathe With Aravind. I started Breathe With Aravind because breathwork transformed my life. It helped me to see my blindspots, societal conditioning, inner-child wounds, and childhood traumas that I carried out along the way. I see breathwork as a process of unlearning things that we were taught growing up. When I realized what I had carried from the past it allowed me to find my inner peace and create a meaningful life.

For a long time, I was chanting the mantra

‘’lokah samastah sukhino bhavantu”

which means ‘’May All Beings Everywhere Be Happy and Free’’. I strongly felt that I could contribute to this by serving people around me through my great passion for breathwork and witnessing them transform their lives.

My dream has always been to travel the world, but growing up in India I felt a lot of pressure from my family to get a well paid job, marry a stranger and settle down for a life I could never see myself living. With the help of a dear friend I decided to follow my heart and my dream and it brought me on a beautiful journey towards a purposeful and meaningful life which has now led me to Koh Phangan, Thailand.

How i got started

I began meditating at the age of 8 and later, at the age of 12, I started practising yoga.

After finishing a degree in engineering I moved to Auroville International Community to practise yoga and meditation. I have since then stayed at many different ashrams to dive deeper into my practice.

At my arrival in Koh Phangan I stayed at Samma Karuna Awakening and Healing School where I did a long Awakening and Healing Program.

Later I completed my Bio Development Intensives & Facilitator Training, Tantra Teacher Training, Samma Karuna Social Meditation Facilitator training and Multi-Style Breathwork Facilitator training.

My name Aravind means ‘’Lotus’’. The lotus flower rises from the mud without stains and since they return to the murky water each evening and blossom at the break of dawn they are often viewed as a symbol of purity, strength and resilience.

Like a lotus flower we too have the ability to rise from the mud, bloom out of the darkness and radiate into the world. This is what I hope to help people with through my breathwork.

Values that i see in my offering

Safe Space

Providing a safe and secure space for people to open up, unfold and express their inner feelings.

Communication

Compassionate communication and mindful listening with my students.

Community

Supporting through the process of transformation by providing a mindful community virtually.

From the heart

Loving presence with the students and teaching from the heart.

Difficult experiences frequently result in the most personal growth. A negative experience does not exist. Feeling what we might call negative emotions is no better or worse than feeling positive emotions. Emotions are simply signals from our inner intelligence that something needs to be acknowledged.

Everyone has this incredible “inner intelligence” that, among other things, manipulates our 37 trillion body cells simultaneously and without pause at all times. When we get one, does our mind figure out how to heal a cut? No. Our bodies “know” exactly what to do. When you are working with me, I’m just providing you space where you allow yourself to express, be aware, experience, and heal yourself.

What am i offering ?
